QuitClaim to break survivorship

I recently found out that my wife who recently died of cancer, broke the survivorship in the deed by going to a lawyer (without my knowledge) and changing the deed. She did a quitclaim to an employee of her attorney for a $1 and then that person transfered the deed back to her.

Now her uncle called me (he's the excutor of the will) and told me that she willed it to he children from a previous marriage and to 1 child I had with her. They are all minors. I was told I need to sell the house and split the difference minus the mortgage to the children which will go into a trust.

Note this is in the state of CT.

Can this be done? I bought the house 20 years ago, but added my wife on a remortgage 10 years ago.

Where do I stand and what recourse do I have?
